Fuzzy Blue Lights

As a person who happens to be extremely fascinated with light, I'm excited to start working on my time exposure project. My major focus for this project will be city streets and the headlights/taillights of passing cars. Here are my main points of inspiration for this upcoming project.

Designer Skyline

For our second advanced photo assignment, we were told to shoot photographs of various examples of architecture in our area. My main focus for this project was playground equipment and historical architecture. Strange combination, I know.

This first photo is by far my favorite out of all the ones I shot. It was taken in a historic neighborhood in Fort Worth, Texas. I really love the light aquamarine color of the sky and the intersecting lines created by the shingles on the roof and the chimneys & weather vanes.

This second photo was taken at Fire Station Park in Fort Worth's Southside Historic District. I really like how the red swing pops against the drab background.

The final photo I've chosen to post for this project is of a bench that was sitting near the old courthouse in downtown Fort Worth. The lighting in the particular corner where this bench was located made for a shot that to me feels very refreshing and clean.

Overall, I'm really proud of the photographs I took for this project and the fact that they were taken in a wonderful city like Fort Worth makes me enjoy them that much more.
